WHAT WE DO
Venice Public Art is public art in Venice, CA created or instigated by Robin Murez. In fun, no-tech interactive sculptural installations and neighborhood earthworks, Robin and neighbors bring to life the colorful stories of Venice's people and places on the streets, corners, and parks of Venice. Please join in, in whatever way you might like. Together we build community, beautify and green our public spaces, and bring art and fascinating stories to life.
Initiated in 2005 by Robin Murez, Venice Public Art brings together neighbors: artists, architects, charitable groups, contractors, historians, journalists, landscapers, performers, schools, professionals and business persons, primarily living and working in Venice.
We collaborate on projects with, and invite the participation of, Venice neighborhood organizations including: The Venice Neighborhood Council, The Chamber of Commerce, The Venice Heritage Foundation, The Venice Action Committee, Friends of the Venice Library, Safe Place for Youth SPY, The Venice Neighborhood Housing Corporation, The Canals Association, and Friends of the Canals.
